AMP-1502 Audio Power Amplifier

Analog telephone input (AMP-1502P) AMP-1502 is an industrial grade audio amplifier module housed in a compact rugged metal enclosure. In addition to providing superb sound quality, this class D amplifier is also highly efficient and generates little heat, making additional cooling unnecessary in most cases. It also features thermal and short circuit protection with automatic recovery. The input loop-through feature allows multiple units to be daisy-chained and driven by the same audio source, without the need for signal spliter cables. Installation is made easy by the detachable terminal blocks for power and speaker connections. The rugged metal case has integrated tabs on the sides for mounting purposes. AMP-1502P Similar to the AMP-1502 but this model has, in addition to the line in, an analog telephone input for message broadcasting. The line in is often used optionally for background music. AMP-1502HV AMP-1502HV is an AMP-1502 integrated with an HVTR1 (high voltage audio transformer). It provides not only low impedence outputs but also high voltage (70V and 100V) outputs.

Typical Applications
In some applications where the QuikWave
audio player is placed far away from the
speakers, it may be better to install an AMP-
1502 near the speakers instead of running
long speaker wire.
In other applications where the QuikWave
audio player cannot provide enough output
via the internal power amplifier, one or
more AMP-1502’s can be added to boost
the overall output power.
